We at Midnight Auto ask you that you make sure your car is mechanically sound prior to your tuning appointment. We want you to have your vehicle in the best shape possible to make sure it lives a long and happy life. We also want to ensure the safety of surrounding people and property while tuning takes place. Below is what we recommend:
- Change spark plugs
- Change oil
- Check all fluid levels and the condition of fluids
- Check condition of your plug wires and all other ignition related components
- Make sure all wiring is sound and all connections are tight along with all the engine sensors working properly [factory ECU customers - no check engine light]
- Check and inflate all tires to their recommended tire pressure [ drag radials and slicks are not recommended on all dynos]
- Make sure all lug nuts are tight
- A compression test is also a good idea. Low or irregular compression between cylinders or excessive oil smoking engines will NOT be tuned
